Jason is a PhD student in Philosophy at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign). His main philosophical interests are in ethics, political philosophy, and philosophy of law, with a special emphasis on prisons and punishment. Before coming to Illinois, he earned an M.A. in Philosophy from Georgia State University, and a B.A. in Philosophy & Sociology from the University of Oklahoma. In addition to his studies he is also a Fellow at the Center for a Stateless Society. He grew up in Norman, OK.
